BOTANICAL NAME: Aloe barbadensis Miller

Our Aloe Vera Gel contains 99.3% fresh inner fillet Aloe Vera, gently thickened with xanthan gum to create a light, non-sticky gel for topical use.

Unlike many commercial Aloe gels, ours is made from fresh Aloe Vera rather than reconstituted Aloe powder. The inner fillet is minimally processed to help retain its naturally occurring polysaccharides, including acemannan.

INGREDIENTS: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate.

The Aloe Vera is organically grown in Spain and comes from the clear inner fillet of the leaf. No colour, fragrance, carbomer or synthetic acrylate thickeners are added.

WHY INNER FILLET?
The inner fillet is the clear mucilaginous portion found inside the Aloe leaf. It is naturally low in aloin and provides the polysaccharide-rich material traditionally associated with Aloe Vera gel.

NATURALLY RICH IN ACEMANNAN
Fresh Aloe Vera naturally contains a complex mixture of polysaccharides, of which acemannan is one of the best known. Our Aloe material is selected and processed to retain a high level of these naturally occurring components.

HOW TO USE
Apply directly to clean skin as required. Particularly useful as a lightweight moisturising gel for the face and body, after sun exposure, after shaving, or whenever the skin feels dry or in need of cooling hydration.

It can also be used sparingly through the hair to smooth fly-aways or provide very light hold.

Essential oils may be incorporated for experienced formulators, but appropriate dermal dilution levels should always be observed. Avoid contact with the eyes.

TEXTURE, COLOUR & AROMA
Real Aloe Vera is not completely odourless or water-white. Our gel has a naturally very pale appearance and a mild characteristic Aloe aroma. No fragrance or colouring is added.

QUALITY
Every batch is subject to quality checks before release. The Aloe Vera is preserved with small amounts of sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate, with citric acid used to maintain the appropriate pH.

STORAGE
Keep tightly closed and store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Follow the storage instructions shown on the product label.

LOCKING & UNLOCKING PUMP TOPS
If the cap is not screwed tightly onto the bottle, the entire pump may rotate instead of opening or closing. Tighten the cap firmly first. The pump should then unlock with approximately a quarter-turn to the left and lock with a quarter-turn to the right. Do not force or over-turn the pump.
