Making A Purchase

Even though, Kobashi Essential Oils has never had a problem with over a million bottles of Essential Oils that we have sold, we like to be extra cautious.

If accidentally swallowed DO NOT induce vomiting - drink at least 1 pint of water - seek medical advice. Show bottle & amount.

Many Aromatherapists and Practitioners prescribe Essential Oils internally. They are also used as flavorings in many foods, beverages and liqueurs, but are mixed in low dilutions by professionals.

We do not recommend any essential oils to be taken internally or applied undiluted to the skin - unless you are fully aware of what you are doing.

To use simply add 4 to 8 drops in a vaporizer or on water in burner, 1 drop in 5ml (~teaspoon) of a carrier oil for on your skin or 1 to 6 drops in the bath, mixing the water well. (Oil dependent see instructions on side of bottle.)

Certain oils may cause irritation and/or sensitizing and should be used in greater dilutions - they are all marked (Xn)

Oils marked (S), especially Tagetes & Bergamot, should not be used on skin before exposure to the sun. Citruses have a coumarin and Furanocoumarin content, but when distilled as our Lime is, none should be found. They had been found in over 60 plants before 1937. Furanocoumarins absorb sunlight, thus should not be used on the skin when exposed to the sun. This does not apply when used in a shampoo, bath or Soap Base as most is washed away.

Avoid contact with the eye area: should this happen, immediately wash eyes thoroughly with water and repeat.

Seek medical attention if stinging persists after 10 minutes.

Some people may have allergic like reactions to essential oils, just as some people are allergic to grass or pollen. Kobashi can not be held responsible for any adverse reactions from their use. If you are prone to skin sensitivity and allergic reactions dilute oils to 0.5% or less. If in doubt of the amount please get professional advice.

Do not take internally!

Do not use undiluted! Read bottle for dilution %: The less you use for the desired effect the better.

Less than 3% is a general rule, but 0.5% with some oils. Oils such as Lavender can be used in up to greater %.

Some oils are FLAMMABLE: Do not expose to direct flame or fire. Use a suitable burner - vapourizer.

When storing essential oils Keep Away from Heat or Sunlight.

Keep essential oils away from plastic and rubber, such as PVC and pipettes with rubber bulbs.

Our testing has shown that phthalates do not leach from our
PP, PETG, PET, HDPE plastic bottles or silicon used for our peristaltic pumps.

Delivery Schedule We know how important and time sensitive receiving your oils can be.
We make every effort to send your order in a timely manner.

You will normally receive your order within 2 to 3 days in the UK.

4 to 28 days, depending on your Country and your choice of delivery method.

The average delivery time for the UK is 1 day and the Rest of the World 6 days.

CANADA: seems to have more delays than other countries: we believe due to package format inspection and custom charges. Delivery times have been variable between 5 to 7 days and a couple up to 28 days.

CHINA/ASIA: occasionally has delays: we believe due to customs and language format. Please send us your address in Chinese in a separate email. Delivery times have been variable between 5 to 14 days and a couple up to 28 days.

USA: Delivery times have been variable between 5 to 7 days and a few have taken longer.

Your order will be processed for delivery Monday - Friday 9am - 3 pm GMT time.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. If you are a business within the EC, (EXCLUDING UK), selling Kobashi products and have a VAT # please place in field above.

All countries outside these areas will NOT be charged 17.5% VAT, but please check with your local customs to see if you have to pay tax, customs or duties upon entry to your country. We cannot reimburse you for these charges.

You will be charge in GBP (If your bank account is not in GBP currency it will be converted for you, so it doesn't matter what currency your card is in. There will be difference due to bank currency valuation to base rate.)

PayPal GBP:
If you have a Paypal account you can pay in GBP Paypal will convert the currency for you.

Currency exchange prices vary slightly due to exchange rate fluctuation. Please remember this site is in GBP and conversion rates are performed by your card company.

Orders over 1000GBP must be made by BAC Payment (Bank Transfer.) Place your order by Card and we will send to you Our Bank details.

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using Thawte TLS 1.0, RC4 with 128 bit encryption (High); RSA with 1024 bit exchange. This encryption makes it virtually impossible to break into. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Aroma can be subjective: example: Our daughter Lily doesn't like the smell of Catnip oil, but our friend Velia and Lynda like it. If you don't like the particular Aroma of an oil please send us an email before taking any action. Aroma isn't the only reason why one would purchase an oil. In 25 years only about 5 people sent oils back. In each case the oils were fine, in our opinion. In one case a lady used a quarter of each oil and sent them back. All in all the feed back on Kobashi Oils is very very positive and of course this makes us happy. Please don't let this deter from telling us how you feel, negative or positive.

Returns Policy

Products must be unopened and will incur a 10% Restocking fee. This happens so infrequently I am only mentioning this because it takes time to check all the oils if it does happen.

Remittance Terms

Products, Prices and Discounts can be changed or deleted without prior notice.

DUE TO SUPPLIER PRICE INCREASE PRODUCT PRICES MAY INCREASE WITHOUT NOTICE. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE PRICES OF AN INVOICE. This is a rare occurrence, but when it does happen we will send you an adjusted invoice for your approval before sending.

Any damage or short delivery should be reported within 3 days of delivery. Title for goods is retained by Kobashi until full and complete payment has been received.
